My game is a 3D Unity project that simulates the thrill of fishing. Players move through different stages, from setup to catching a fish. The gameplay focuses on timing, with buoy mechanic simulation keeping players engaged.
Steps to Catch a Fish:
1. Preparation (Sequence 1):
• Players set up and interact with UI buttons. Without proper interaction, they can’t move on.
2. Waiting (Sequence 2):
• The buoy floats gently, signaling anticipation. Missed attention here means missing the bite.
3. Biting (Sequence 3):
• The buoy moves quickly when a fish bites. Players must press Space at the right moment to catch it. If they fail, the fish escapes.
4. Catch Success (Sequence 4):
• If players react in time, they see a success message and proceed. Missed reactions mean restarting.
Above and Beyond:
• Timing & Skill: Players must press Space at the perfect moment. Timing settings are adjustable for more or less challenge.
• Randomized Movement: The buoy’s movement during bites is randomized, keeping players alert.
• Game Management: The GameManager smoothly transitions sequences, while GameResetManager fully resets the game state, restoring positions, rotations, and active states.
• State Restoration: Resetting restores not just positions but all essential properties for a fresh game experience each time
